California Earthquake Connection

The week prior to the 7.2 earthquake there were no eqs in our area that preceded the one there on April 4,2010. However, on April 10,2010, there was a 2.8 earthquake.

The week prior to the 5.9 earthquake of June 15,2010, there were 2 earthquakes in Oklahoma, on June 12 and June 14, both minor in nature. On June 14, Oklahoma had the rainfall that was rarer than once every 500 years in its severity, much like the Atlanta Deluge(the 10,000 year rainfall). West Virginia and Ohio both had very massive flooding also.

I must interject here to talk about the magnetosphere plot going to a value of 2450 ntorr on June 8,2010. Whether that has anything to do directly with any particular earthquake, I don’t know.

On June 16,2010, just a few hours after the California or Baja earthquake on the 15th of June, the Canadian earthquake occurred. It was originally called a 5.7 but was downgraded to a 5.0 which I did not agree with at the time.

Today, July 7,2010, another large earthquake occurred in California, near Anza. It’s epicenter was about 60 miles north of the original epicenter of the 7.2. It’s original rating was a 5.9 but it was downgraded to a 5.4. It was the third large earthquake in as many months. There 4 Okilahoma earthquakes that preceded today’s earthquake. There were 3 minor earthquakes on July 1,2010 and 1 minor earthquake on July 4,2010 in Oklahoma, which was prior to today’s earthquake in California.

There seems to be a loose association between earthquakes in Oklahoma and California.
